Badeya Cultural Dance Group

Badeya Cultural Dance Group performs traditional West African percussion and dance routines inspired by the rich cultural traditions of the area. With 15-20 talented members mainly from Guinea, they perform professionally at different hotels, restaurants and festivals.

The Badeya Cultural Dance Group was formed in 2005. It started as a small 5-member band with percussionists and dancers, but now boasts 15-20 members with multiple size show sets.

Badeya performs live at many hotels and festivals in The Gambia. Each performance holds a wide variety of cultural song and dance routines.
